Hi!

I went in yesterday to buy more of the .62c pins I promised myself I wouldn't get anymore of and I saw their Tshirts on sale.

I could have sworn the sign says 2 tshirts for 7.99? Did anybody else see that? I came home and saw that the receipt has each for 10.50 with five dollars subtracted at the end--making each shirt 8, not two for 7.99

HELP! Did I just read it wrong? They're cute Ts and I'll keep them, but darn it I wanted a bargain!

Got a Captain Hook t for my special little boy and a Princess Ballet t for my darling toddler.

I went to the closest DS to me Saturday, and the sign there read "$7.99 each if buying 2 or more." I always have to look twice because these signs can be so confusing.

Bought two Princess tees at the Freehold Nj store and only paid 10.00 for both. I also payed 6.00 for a very cute Buzz Lightyear fleece marked down from 30.00. the sign said Anniversary sale- up to 75% off. I am sorry I didn't buy more but I only have two grandkids who still fit into kids sizes.

On Thursday last week my DS had the kid's tees were 7.99 each if you bought 2. I think they had been cheaper, maybe closer to $5?, 1 or 2 weeks earlier.

They also had kids fleece tops for $5.99 each. They had been about $10 for a while. I was watching them! :)

I love mall walking twice a week, but it's bad for my wallet!! :teeth:

FFerret,

If you still have your receipt take closer look at it. When we ring two t-shirts, it takes off $5.02 at the end, not $5. The amount is printed on the receipt. If it really says $5, then take the receipt back and ask for your .02. They were advertised at $7.99 when you bought two or more, and even if the registers weren't programmed properly that day you are entitled to the advertised price.

Although saving $5 rather $5.02 still seems like a bargain to me.

I take the OP's post to mean that the OP thought the T-shirts were on sale for $4 each (2 for $7.99) instead of buy two and pay $7.99 a piece. I don't think the OP would worried about 2 cents :p

If I misunderstood it then I am sorry. But you would be amazed at how many people do come in and argue over stuff like that based on principle.

ha!

well, if you want my two cents worth...
:D

I'm kinda bummed that I had apparently misread the sign--I guess I've been spoiled with the 0.62 pins that i was hoping the ts were 2 for 7.99

Thanks to everyone for your replies!
