Dinosaur

Just want to know if Dinosaur (AK) should be called a thrill ride ? Is there drops or high speed or is it just dark with huge animatronic figures ?

It is dark and very loud. Not fast but really jerky when it turns. No big drops, just a pretty rough ride. The dinosaurs make noise at you which can get loud. My kids love this ride, but I just plug my ears when the real loud one comes, where they take your picture.

Its not a thrill ride, but it is "jerky" it jerks you around a lot. I want my Mom to ride but I'm afraid it will be too bumpy for her..

Dinosaur isn't a thrill ride per se. But it is very jerky and rough. I also thought it was very frightening. The Dinosaurs are done very well. I almost wet my pants on the last one. My 9 yr. old daughter closes her eyes and plugs her ears on the ride. And she still cried coming off.
Be prepared to be thrown around alot!

The ride is dark, loud and really rough.... quite scary for most kids.

I think the only reason that Disney considers Dinosaur as a thrill ride is because before Expedition Everest was built, it was the only rough ride in Animal Kingdom. They didn't want people to not come because there aren't a lot of thrills (this doesn't matter anymore because of Expedition EVerest)

I am a ride chicken and I do Dinosaur! It is rough and bumpy, but no drops (one teeny-tiny dip that I can think of), but I do it because I can be in at least one ride picture with my dare-devil famly!

My six year old son is a TOTAL thrill seeker. He continually impresses me as the boy that takes a lickin' and keeps on tickin'. He LOVES thirll rides...His favorite rides that he rode four times+ last trip? Rockin Rollin Coaster AND Test Track. The ONLY two rides that he wouldn't get back on? Mission:Space and Dinosaur. I think they were a little "too real" for him. No, neither one is a roller coaster or speed ride...but they have alot of realistic elements that set him back a notch.

And I have to admit...as far as thrill rides are concerned...they're probably my least favorite as well.

Dinosaur is one of my all time favorites. It's so awsome . at the end you can literaly feal the power of the roar of the carnotaur on your face. it's so real and I just love it. It's the only ride i've been on since i was a kid where i littleraly turned my head away in fear.
