Does anyone have a status on the refurb of Dinosaur? My FP+ just got booted!!

:( So disappointed in that. Guess I'm glad there are other things to do!

I'll still be there on 10/24, so guess I'll be on the lookout for it to open

Got my notification of a replacement FP+ on Nov 3rd... on PW.. really Disney... You're going to disappointment me like that and then give me a replacement fast pass on the worst attraction at the park?

I got the same thing on november 12.... primevil whirl.....oh boy-- If they don't announce ROL soon, I'm going to cancel the whole night....That's the only reason I am holding some FPP for the afternoon/ evening...

Just gotta say and I usually try to be a sunshine type of person but this really bums me out.....first off this trip my mom suddenly got diagnosed with stage 4 cancer two weeks ago so her and my dad can't come now, BTMRR is down then they pull Rock N roller coaster and now Dinosaur....I know I know there will be lots of other things to do, but each week I am getting nervous about another refurb being announced so close to our trip.....

So you folks would rather they don't refurb the rides and keep running them until they completely fall apart and are no longer safe?

Dinosaur is long overdue for a rehab. It hasn't been functioning properly for quite some time now.

I didn't see anyone mention that they want to ride unsafe rides. People have a right to be sad and disappointed about events that happen.

Some people aren't expressing that they are sad, they are basically saying Disney is stupid for closing the ride and somehow owes them something for doing so.

My problem is that people are too quick to jump to conclusions that this is all Disney's fault and they always run behind on things. We don't know the back story here, so we can't jump to conclusions. Dinosaur went down for a scheduled refurb, it has been extended. Sure it could be Disney just being slow but that very rarely happens with reforms. This very well could be an issue that couldn't be found until the took things apart, or they'll surprise us and add new affects.

It's puzzling to me that other adults would have a problem/issue with someone being disappointed that favorite rides are down. It's no different then if my local ice cream shop was only serving chocolate chip but I drove out hoping for butter pecan. That emotion would be disappointment and again would not affect other adults ?? Very bizarre responses?

Again my issue isn't with proper being disappointed. My issue is with people blaming Disney when we don't know why its been extended.

The ONLY reason that would smother my disappointment is if the dinosaurs were actually coming to life and killing people. Then I might be relieved it is still down. Most other reasons still leave me with that disappointed feeling. :upsidedow
