Dinosaur Ride: Missing Effects!?!

like Robo said, just because they're not working now doesn't mean they aren't there or weren't there at some point. sometimes the effect needs a simple reset, sometimes they just get shelved. the projection of brer rabbit running over the hill on splash mountain isn't there half of the time, and that's a pretty simple thing to fix. on an IOA site there's a running thread called 'what isn't working on Jurassic Park today' :)

We need one of those threads here! I also noticed like you said about the Splash Mountain projection. Me and my best friend notice when it is or isn't working because it's effect is really cool.

Any idea what the address of that site is? I'd love to read it.

It's REALLY weird that a few people are questioning if ROBO is telling the truth about the missing Dinosaur effects. Just because you didn't see/remember them, doesn't mean that they didn't exsist. Both my mother and I remember them - especially the dinosaur who used to spit on you . . .

I went on it when it was Countdown to Extinction about 5 months after it opened, and the moving walls, Aladar in the mirror, and the spitting dino were not there at the time. However, I do remember it being a heck of a lot BRIGHTER in the ride than when I was there in October of 2004; also, to the best of my knowledge, the camera has always been when the carnotaur is chasing you, not when you go underneith him. Also of note, on that same trip Brer Rabbit was still hopping, though I have seen him broken down on several occasions. :)
