Dinosaur refurbishment, Rumors? anything New added?

Some folks are saying they wish the video would've been updated, but I have a feeling that change would not have gone over very well. I like that they keep the originals on some of their stuff!

How long did the refurbished effects last? Two weeks? During Pop Warner week this month while we were at WDW, the green laser never worked in either time tunnel, the smoke projection effect worked once, some scenes completey blacked out on one ride, the explosion impact never worked (which made the finale make no sense), and when you pulled up to the Carnotaurus in the finale, you could clearly see the time tunnel illuminated down the slope beneath the Audio-Animatronic, blowing the illusion. The ride is also now ridiculously dark. I expected a lot more from such a long refurb.

My guess is you were just unlucky because the effects weren't just turned off or broken already they still are on and still are working for others.

I rode multiple times on different days between December 6 and December 11. I'm thinking the effects are probably as finicky as the effects on Indy at DL, which are also very on-again, off-again. I was surprised, though, because I was expecting the full effects from the post-refurb videos I had seen. Maybe they had a difficult week with the ride?

Considering the ride is the same as Indy except for the theme that wouldn't be my guess as well.
