Alright. I'll admit, I'm a pretty die hard thrill ride junkie, taking any coaster tossed my way in stride.

Dinosaur scared me a bit. I mean c'mon, that thing snorted at me. :scared:

Anyone else??

I was so scared I kept my head ducked under my arms the whole ride. Though, I only looked up once and it was when the T-Rex was like "ROAR!". I didn't want to see that part.

the first time i rode it, i kept my eyes closed the ENTIRE time and missed the whole thing. the last time i went to AK, i kept them open and it wasnt half as bad as i thought it was.

Sorry Guys!, but this is excellent to hear!

Roll on my vacation!!! It's not far away but still seems so far.

This is such a relief to hear. I have been so scared to admit this for the longest time on these boards. People usually say this ride isn't intense, etc... Well I thought it was pretty intense, scary, and almost freighting!

The first time I rode this, I really didn't know what to expect - so I thought I would give it a try. I actually didn't think it would be to scary because I seen alot of under children in the queve line. So, after the preshow, I was picked to sit in the first row on the side where that huge Dinosaur was! :scared1: :scared1: :scared1: :scared1: :scared1: :scared1: :scared1: This was awful! I rode most of the ride with my eyes closed and my hands holding onto the bar as tight as I could. When I got off this ride, I honestly felt like I was going to have a heart attack and I am only 21. I said to myself that I would never do it again. :confused3

However, I went back two weeks later this time I took my parents. Upon park opening my mother insisted to ride that ride first even after I told her about it. So, we got in line and about 5 minutes we were watching the preshow. After the show she said she had to go to the restroom so she left through the exit door, leaving me to ride this ride ALONE, AGAIN! was! :scared1: :scared1: :scared1: :scared1: :scared1: :scared1: :scared1: Talk about another mid-death experience.

When I got off the ride she was there waiting for me laughing at the picture on the screen. She never had to go to the restroom she was just scared. I was so upset with her!

:rotfl: But yeah, I was scared. Would I ride it again? :rotfl: Maybe! :) By myself? :lmao: YEAH RIGHT!

I myself am a big guy.....6'2" 240 lbs. and I'll tell you what.....the first time I rode Dinosaur I did not expect the big T-Rex at the end and I nearly jumped out of my skin. My friends still make fun of me to this day!

I ducked when the photo was being taken on that ride, and I've never heard my fiance laugh so hard as when he saw the proofs of that photo. I had to completely guilt him into not purchasing it. It was soooooo embarassing!

I HATE scary anything.
Can't stand spiders
Corny scary fliks give me nightmares

Dinosaur made me:

JUMP
SCREAM &
LAUGH

so hard I had tears in my eyes!

I love it.
Would i go on it a-l-o-n-e without another soul around?
nooooo way.

Editing to add: 1st time I rode this with my kids there was a seat left open to my right. Throughout the ride I was so irrationally scared that Disney was going to toss a dinosaur character in that seat next to me when the lights went out.

So would this not be a good ride to take my dd5 and ds7 on? They are both dinosaur freaks.

Every time I ride Dinosaur I jump! :Pinkbounc

I know that Dinosaur at the end is coming - I am waiting for him and no matter what - when he comes at me I still jump out of my skin and then laugh! :rotfl:

I screamed like the biggest baby ever!!!! :rotfl: :rotfl: But, loved the ride. The funny thing is that my DH and I did the child swap. He rode with our then 4 year old son, who instisted he be allowed to ride even after all the warnings, and a crying fit later when we told him DH would ride 1st to see if it was ok...he went on w/DH to stop the crying we were trying to avoid! Anyhoo....he loved it and then went on it w/me immediately after and loved it and laughed his little butt off at his Momm sreaming!!!! My 7 year old DD won't go near it!!!! IT scared me, yes, I screamed, YES....but it was fun!!

I'm such a baby...I know it isn't real...but I have never seent eh inside fo this ride...I ride it everytime we go so the whole family is together, but I have yet to keep my eyes open for the experience. Every year I say I will and every year we are placed inteh front row of the ride vehicle so I chicken out. THe kids just laugh and laugh--people come out and point and laugh at my picture...I would love to just ride it with my eyes open but I just can't bring myself to that. I bet my BP goes sky high everytime we load into the ride!

I was scared the first time i went on it but then i enjoyed it once i knew what dinosaurs were coming out where! But i do have to admit that it still is really dark and loud-still a little scary!

My DS was 7 when we first took him on Dinosaur- he was so excited, he couldn't stop smiling- insisted on the front seat, so I sat with him, and that was that. We started the ride, and he completely freaked out. Started screaming for somone to help him, begging me to stop the ride, hiding his head and just sobbing with fear. I was in tears I felt so bad. FF two years we took my other DS who was 5 on the ride, and he loved it. But he's an adreneline junky. Loves all scary rides, and thinks ToT of boring. So being a dinosaur fan is not really a good pre-requisite, it depends on the kid. oh, and I would point out, I hadn't been on Dinosaur yet when I took my older son, so I didn't know what to expect either.

My wife purchased the on-ride photo, just so she would have my expression in her scrapbook.

Everything was fine, until that t-rex tried to kill me! Seriously, uncool for that thing to be hiding like that.

I will be prepared for my next trip.

Yeah that ride is terrifying! Im wish I could post our ride pic because I'm ducking nearly under the seat, while DBF, DB, & DBIL have these "I just crapped my pants" looks on their faces. It's hysterical....now. It wasn't too funny then :rotfl:

I went on this ride not knowing anything about it. I kind did not want to know anything because it is a rare occasion you can go on a ride and be completely surprised.

Well, my DH doesn't even know this. The ride literally scared the crap out of me....I mean really.....I had to run to the bathroom.

What exact part are you all scared of? I dont get it :confused3

I love the ride... I rode it with my 4 yrs old daughter and she loved it too... can't wait to go back in Jan 07... :cool1:
