I know, I was thinking the same. Both will be closed for our trip, both are fav's of my dd and ds. And I'm not sure about Small World, it keeps going on and off the refurb list for the summer time frame.

I'm right there with you all, was absolutely gutted BTMR will be closed when we're there and now Dinosaur. No more returns please Disney unless the ride is in dire need of it

We arrive Sept. 29th so hopefully it will be back running by then. Still bummed that Big Thunder will be closed as its one of our favorite MK rides.

ARE YOU KIDDING ME!? We too were already super bummed about BTMR which is my daughter's favourite ride! My son loves dinosaurs and it's his first trip and I've been building it up for the last month.

Lighten up folks. You'll have all that night time stuff to do at AK. Better yet actually walk the trail and see some Tigers or do WAT. The wife and I will probably just substitute another visit to the BBQ joint.

Not sure about that! Disney is still showing AK closing at 5PM for most of July and thru August and September. Who knows if they'll still have nights at AK for the fall months!

I just saw this last night and I'm so sad. We love Dinosaur even more than BTMR!! ALSO sad that MuppetVision 3D will be down for one week, which happens to be THE WEEK we are there. :'(

It's always a bummer when a favorite ride is down during a scheduled trip. It seems like a small thing, and it is, but it's still ok to be disappointed.

From Memorial Day on out expect Ak to be open until around 9pm-11pm nightly

I would expect that for the summer months but I wouldn't for the low season. The other parks aren't open that late nightly, not even MK or EP.

Heck yeah. I never feel like I have enough time at AK to do everything I want to do but I'd still miss this one if we were going in this timeframe.

AK hours will be a lot like HS hours. It won't be closing at 5 anymore

I really don't understand why they are closing popular rides during the summer at peak attendance times. Annoying.

Bummer. I had wanted to show my dad the different rides with dinosaurs that he missed when we went last time. Thought he'd really enjoy it

I'm so sad that Dinosaur will be down. :/ I'm hoping it might be open by the time I'm down there. I was in line for it last time I was there and they kicked us all out and gave us fastpasses instead for something else. I'm sure the refurb is for a very good reason. I was just looking forward to riding it for the first time in September. As long as Space Mountain doesn't close, I'll manage, though.
