Hello, I am planning my next Disney vacation (which is in 4 days!!! woohoo!) and I have planned a restraunt for each park.. The restraunts are:
Magic Kingdom:Tonys Town Square Restraunt
Epcot: Teppan Edo Restraunt
Hollywood Studios: Mama Melrose's Restraunt
Animal Kingdom: Tusker House Restraunt

Any reviews on these places would be so amazing!!! Thank you so much!:)

Have you made reservations for these restaurants?
If you haven't I recommend that you head to Disneyworld.com to try and make them.

Teppan Edo - This is a Teppanyaki style restaurant. The chef prepares the food infront of you. The tables seat 8-10 people. So if your family is less than 8 you will be pared with another family for dinner.

Its great fun. My family loves eating there. We were there 2 months ago for birthday celebrations.

Enjoy your vacation!!:thumbsup2

Tony's Town Square can be hit or miss - the first time we ate there we loved it, the second time it was just ok. We just ate at Teppan Edo last week. We had a great chef. The food was good, but it is expensive. We loved Mama Melrose for dinner. We have not eaten at Tusker House.

Haha thanks! I will get on the reservations either tomorrow or the next day thank you so much!

Try to book now, don't delay. I checked Tuskers on Sunday, the 9th, party of 4 and only 1 time is available. 4:25 p.m. This may not be the day you were planning on going to AK but it should be close. Also checked TE on the 7th. Only time open for 4 was 8:55 p.m.

Here's the link to get started. You may have to change your plans due to availability.

For example if you can't get into Tony's at MK you might try Kona Cafe at Poly. Only a short hop on the monorail. Or one of the TS at Contempo and GF.

As for reviews we love Teppan Edo and have done Tony's once. Thought it was expensive but if you're on DDP then it won't matter. We like Tutto Italia at Epcot much more (also $$) but the food was great!

Haven't done MM at DHS so can't comment. We did Tusker last year during a EMH, just before closing. The place was empty (which was surprising since getting an ADR was tough) and therefore the food was hit and miss.

If you can't get into TE at EPCOT there are many good places to choose from. When you search on the website, if what you want isn't available, then they'll give you options. :goodvibes

Good luck :wizard:

Yeah I hope I get the reservation too!!! hahaha If I don't oh well at least I have my options you know? Its Disney!

Another option is the Wave at the Contemporary - again a short monorail ride from MK. We just ate there 2 weeks ago and it is our new favorite. I think it is relatively undiscovered yet. It was nearly empty at 6:30 pm when we ate there.

We enjoyed Tony's Town Square Restaurant. The food portions were big and everything tasted good. This was in June. 2009.

Our waiter kept our drinks refilled and was very apologetic when one of the folks dropping off food at our table gave us the wrong thing. He came right over and even had the correct meal in his hands.

We all liked it and wouldn't hesitate to go back.

No worries - its Disney haha You will have a blast!! Seriously its all GOOD

Teppan Edo - oh yum. I had the steak and shrimp meal. The sauces were fantastic and I've got to find those recipes. I will definitely go back there again. The Chef did a great job and posed for the camera when he saw I was going to be taking pictures.
Here ya go:

My food. There was sticky rice too but I didn't take a picture of that.

Oh and my drink. I can't remember the name of it. It was pretty but only so-so as drinks go. I don't know the fellow in the picture. He was with another family at the other end of the table.

And finally Mama Melrose.

We added that ADR at the last second. We had a late lunch there. DH said it was his favorite meal of the June trip.

The restaurant was nearly empty at 1:30pm. Our waiter was attentive and kept all of our drinks filled up and joked around with us. He suggested meals which we got and really enjoyed.

The restaurant is dark so I didn't take any pictures. I loved the Bellini I had to drink. I had several. DH had something with oysters or clams and loved it. Mine was something with shrimp.
The kids went for spaghetti and flatbread pizza.

A delicious meal and relaxing. It's nice to know we have another choice for DHS that we like besides Sci-Fi Diner.

We've never eaten at Tusker House so I can't help there.
