I have noticed that a number of DVC'ers have mentioned having split accom reservations. How do you handle your advanced dinning reservations? My 90+10 days out come up in the next couple of days.

Have you been able to make all your ressies at once or have you had to wait for the 90 day mark for each individual reservation even though they are concurrent?

I called dinning and the person that I spoke to said that that would be the case. I am wondering if that was just that one particular person who wouldn't allow it?

What have your experiences been?

More often than not I have had to book dining separately for each resort stay when we did split stays. Only once did I encounter a CM who allowed me to book the whole trip even though we switched resorts in the middle.

My experience on August 31st was that the online reservation system let me make two additional reservations for two days past my check out date without a problem. Now I have tweaked a few things recently and realized that they have changed the online system recently so I am not sure what it would do now. It does not hurt to have restaurants picked out just in case.

I made my ADRs on Labor Day and have a split stay. We were able to book for the entire 9 day stay. I DO NOT understand why they tell everyone over the phone that you have to wait and book the second part of your stay at the 90 day mark for that part, when on-line allows it. Just a little consistancy please! They may have changed the on-line system since Monday, I don't know.

Good luck on getting your preferred ADRs!

When I made reservations on August 29th for my split stay the online system let me continue but when I called to book the Candlelight Processional which was going to be in the second half of my stay, the CM was not able to do it so i had to call when that 90 day start date opened.

We are staying at several DVC properties in November/December. Our first reservation is for just one night but when I used the online dining system 90 days from that check-in date I was able to book ADRs for the regular 90 + 10.
