I am a florida resident. The other night, I made resort reservations as well as bought my park passes-buy 2 get the 3rd free with park hopper option added on. When I asked to add the dinning plan option, she told me that I couldn't.
Is that true? We were really looking forward to utilizing this plan as it is something that would actually save us some money!!
Is there any other plan or tips you can offer on saving money on dinning or going about getting the plan added on if at all possible!
Thanks so much,
Julie

Are you getting a FL resident discount on your room? Because to be eligible for the Dining Plan the only room discount they allow is AAA, and that is for packages booked through AAA only.

Dining Plan can only be added on to a "package" where the room is not discounted and you are buying Magic Your Way tickets for everyone in your group. I don't know anything about the deal you got on the passes - maybe that makes your tickets not part of a "package"?

You might give Disney a call back and ask them which part of your reservation makes you ineligible for the plan, then you can work out if it is cost effective to change it. Good luck!

Rent DVC and you can get the dining plan without tickets.
