Hello all my daughter is 11 years old and we currently have the DDP. I was just wondering if we are at a Table service reasturant and she does not like anything off the regular menu can she order a child meal .. She really wanst to do the Princess dinner at Norway but when I was looking at the menu i dont think she will like any of the choices and I was just wondering if they would let her do that?:confused3

I believe there will not be an issue with an "adult" ordering off the kids menu. It will still cost the same credits though

We have never had a problem using an adult TS credit for a something off the children's menu. Sometimes they just made the portion larger. DD12 at the time was a mac and cheese and chicken finger kind of kid.

I was wondering the same thing, but we will not be on the D.P. We were hoping to try the new AKL restaurant Sanaa, but our DS11 is not that adventurous. We just can't see paying that much $ for a dinner that we know he won't eat. We were hoping that he could order off the kids...does anyone know if this would be allowed if you are paying out-of-pocket?

We did the Princess Lunch in Norway last fall. My DD is 15 and her friend is 14 and our waiter suggested to them that if they didn't want any of the adult entrées they could order from the children's menu. My DD ordered ravioli and her friend ordered pizza. The waiter ordered them two of each choice (charged us for one) because he wanted to make sure they would have enough to eat! I think it is safe to assume, since he suggested it to us, that this happens regularly.

That said the traditional dish is actually meatloaf and mashed potatoes and very good. (Just FYI)

Even when on the DDP we have paid OOP for a child's meal so that we did not have to use an Adult TS credit.:thumbsup2
