Sorry this maybe a silly question but...

We have visited WDW lots of times, but this year we are taking my parents and sisters and staying off site and so I want to know...

Is it still possible to eat at the restuarants in the Disney Hotels for example could we make a reservation at AKL for dinner even though we are not staying at a resort?

Sory if this sounds stupid!

Hi Sarah, and welcome to the DIS!

Yes, you can eat in the hotels even if you are staying off site.

Enjoy!

Thanks Bob
I realyl appreciate it
I thought it was a stupid question?

Which hotel resturant do you recommend?

You can eat at any restaurant, just let the man at the gate know you are there for a dinner reservation. We love Boma for breakfast or dinner. We also enjoyed the Cape May Cafe dinner buffet. Good Luck! :thumbsup2

Hi Sarah,

You're welcome!

I always hesitate to recommend restaurants, because chances are your taste is not the same as mine!

Check out this link for menus at all the WDW hotels:

Also, scroll through this DIS restaurants board and you'll find all kinds of positive and negative reviews on almost every restaurant on property!

Cheers,
Bob

Not a stupid question at all! ;)

Yes...we did this a few times last week on our WDW trip. We ate at GF and CSR and we also went to AKL to visit the resort and go to the gift shop. You just tell the guard at the gate that you are there to eat, shop, whatever...and park in the visitor parking lot.

Jiko and Boma at the Animal Kingdom lodge. For a fine meal i would say Jiko!
Nice atmosphere and great staff, food is real good. :cool1:
