What do you guys think is the most elegant restaurant on Disney property?

Many may say Victoria and Albert's, but I have never been there, so I can't comment. DH and I had dinner at Bistro de Paris, and thought it was tres elegant, great service, wonderful food.

I haven't been to V and A's either, but since children are not allowed in this restaurant, I would think this would be a good bet. Even better if you could reserve the chef's table.

V & A's or if you are looking for something a little less formal, California Grill is wonderful!

We were thinking either California Grille or Artist's Point. Any preferences?

I do believe children are allowed at V&A's. I would not suggest it, or dream of doing it myself...but they are allowed.

V&A is our favorite! Yes, it is always prix fixe. We've been there 3 times and enjoyed it each time more than the last. We took a dear friend of ours with us this past December and now he's hooked on the experience as well. It's fun to get dressed up and have a fancy evening out. We checked our kids into the kids club at GF and had a wonderful time. Our friend even brought along and wore his tuxedo. I used the occasion as an excuse to buy a new floor length dress...Cinderella blue...felt like a real princess! For a really special evening, nothing beats V&A in my book!

Second to that would be Bistro de Paris, or Artist Point. Still great food, but not as elegant of an experience. ::MinnieMo

V&A is clearly the most elegant restaurant at WDW.
And on rare occasions, people do bring kids. I've never seen toddlers there, but twice seen kids in the 10-12 year-old range.
If the $$$$ of V&A (or the prix fixe menu) don't appeal, Citricos right next door is "elegant".

V & A's is definetly the most elegant and a must do at least once in your lifetime ....did it for our anniversary 6yrs ago;)

However, for a much more reasonable price and the resturant that comes in at the top next to V & A's I'd go with these in order of preferance :)

Citrico's at the GF
Bistro de Paris in France at Epcot
Yachtsman Steakhouse at YC
California Grill at CR

Haven't tried Artist point for dinner (did breakfast there yrs ago) but I hear it's very good as well as Jiko at AKL...may be worth trying.

My absolute favorite will always be Citrico's though....excellent service, great romantic ambiance and wonderful food. Try the veal shank....ahhh so yummy.

HTH's:wave:

Victoria and Albert's by far. The Disney songs being played on the harp were a great way to remind you that you were at WDW.
But now the OP was later wondering between Artist's Point and Cal. Grille. I would go to the California Grille. I would book it to overlap with the fireworks at the MK.

Thanks everyone! We got 9:20pm at California Grill with a Fairy Godmother for the kids!
