Dinner Wine Package Questions

3 out of the 4 adults in our party enjoy wine and were wondering about the wine package? Are there any site that lists what the costs are and the names of the wines available? Is the cost per person, or per table? What happens if you don't drink all your bottles of wine...will they let you take any unopened ones off the ship?! Just wondering if it's worth the cost versus each of them having a glass of wine with dinner. THanks, Jo

$145 for 7 bottles so $ 20+ per bottle. You'll easily rack up more than that with 4-5 glass of wine (normal per bottle amount) so I think it's a good deal for 3-4 folks. Dh and I didn't do it last year because we like to enjoy other drinks (margaritas and such) as well. This year we're traveling with another couple so we're going to do it!

Any bottles that you don't use will be given to you and you can take them home.

Can you drink more than one bottle per night? We are traveling with another couple and I could us going thru more than one bottle. Do they allow this on the package?

Yes. I have heard that many parties who split the wine package sometimes order more than one bottle at a setting. Some prefer reds, some whites and so they order one of each.

What I liked about wine is that if you don't finish the bottle, your waiter will bring it to your next dinner (and the next and the next), So you could have a red & white etc. open at any given time. On my first criuse I didn't do any wine by the bottle b/c I knew I (we) couldn't drink it all. Then I learned about this "service". Not an issue if there are several people sharing, but it is nice when you only drink 1/2 the bottle or so at a sitting.
