Dinner when park closes early

We are planning to go to DCA in early May and the park closes at 6:00. First, will they change that with the opening of TOT? Second, if the park closes at 6:00 and we want to eat at the Vineyard Room, will we have to eat before 6:00 or do the restaurants stay open later? Thanks!

I'm not to sure about how late the restaurants stay open, but it could be like the rides--if you're in line for a ride by closing time, you get to ride it. Maybe so long as you are at a table by 6 you'd be fine. DCA does usually close around 6 on weekdays. I would suggest making a PS for the day you want to go and ask them how late the restaurant stays open.

midweek "off season" DCA does close at 6pm - don't see ToT changing that - except for the folks that get in line for ToT at 5:45pm and it's a 90 min wait

I think the latest seating at the restaurants is 5:45pm when the park closes at 6pm. So you either eat before the park closes, or eat outside of DCA.

Thanks for the info. We will be there on a Friday so if we don't feel like eating before 6:00, I can get a PS for Friday. There's only one place we want to eat at DCA for dinner - The Vineyard Room I believe it's called, so we can fit it in if necessary on Friday. Thanks again!
