Dinner suggestions near Boardwalk Inn (besides Epcot)

My mom and I have a quick trip planned in July for a first-time stay at the Boardwalk Inn. We will only be staying 2 nights.

I'm up on all the dinner options at Epcot, but haven't a clue about other places to eat that are near the Boardwalk. Any suggestions?

On the boardwalk itself is ESPN, The Boardwalk Bakery, Cat Cora's new restaurant, Flying Fish, Big River Grille, and a couple of counter service kiosks. There are many restaurants in the Swan and Dolphin, everything from a little counter service place, to Todd English's BlueZoo.

Yacht Club Galley is in the Yach Club, as is the Yachtsman's Steakhouse. There is an outdoor counterservice at the pool, Hurricane Hannah's. There is Beaches and Cream for burgers, and a small menu of sandwiches, plus ice cream concoctions. The Beach Club has the Cape May Cafe and a counter service inside their resort shop.

No reason to go into EPCOT for any meal if you don't want to.

You don't need to go anywhere...there are great restaurants right at the Boardwalk!
Kouzinna is really good and if you want to splurge Flying Fish is amazing. Highly recommend both!

Cape May Cafe has a clam-bake buffet that from pictures I've seen on the food porn thread looks outstanding (I love clams!). I haven't been over there yet, but I would love to!

My DH and I stayed at the BoardWalk this past September, and while it's not an actual restaurant, we really enjoyed the Pizza window. It was really relaxing to grab a pizza from there and eat it right there on the boardwalk. We found a table right there, sat and ate our pizza and just enjoyed our surroundings. It was actually one of our favorite meals during the whole trip!

I highly recommend a nice stroll over to the Beach Club for the Cape May buffet. It is delicious! I went with my husband and my parents. It was the first time I have ever seen my father have fifths of anything! He kept going up there for refills on the clams! We ate clams, mussels, and crab legs. Also they have great fried fish, ribs and other selections. It was incredible. If you want a fancy steak dinner then I suggest the Yachtsman at the Yacht Club. It is expensive but if you like steak it is worth every penny.

We like Il Mulino for Italian and Shula's for steak.

I vote for Il Mulino at the Swan. We ate there last trip and had a wonderful meal. I also like Flying Fish as well.

And save room for dessert at Beaches 'n Cream at the Beach Club!!

:)
