I'm trying to figure out what dining I want to do on my own because this is a suprise trip for the family. I'm not sure how far out I will tell them but I hate to wait to make reservations. One day we are there we will probably do Epcot and head to MVMCP later in the day to celebrate DD's sweet 16. What would you suggest to eat an early dinner for DD's bday? We are pretty plain eaters overall. We've had O'hana, Chef Mickey's, Crystal Palace, 50's Prime Time, Planet Hollywood, Cape May, 1900 Park Fare, Whispering Canyon, Trail's End all on previous trips. We were pretty pleased with all of them but are open to trying something new also.

If you want to make it really special, I think California Grill would be really nice. I would love to have celebrated my 16th there - instead I settled for celebrating my 30th there! :-)

CRT would be nice.

Also, one of the signature restaurants would be nice too.

Tell me about California Grill, I'm not familiar with it. Is it 2 TS credits or 1 and is there a dress code, what type of food etc?

But since they will be in Epcot earlier in the day, and also will be going to MVMCP it has to be a place where they can dine early.

California Grill starts serving at 5:30. You might miss the first ½ hour of MVMCP. As an alternative, I would think that Chefs de France in Epcot would be a nice place for dinner also; they start serving dinner at 5:00 and you could easliy be out by a few minutes after 6:00 and be at MK for th3e start of MVMCP.
