We love Arabian Nights and we go just about every visit to the world. My dd loves horses so I always upgrade to VIP.
UndercoverTourist.com is the best price by a small margin over TicketMania.
Three comparisons for 1 Child & 1 Adult ticket:
ArabianNights.com $56.60 + $31.03 (upgrade to VIP is free with online order) =
$87.63
TicketMania $27.00 + $23.00 + $6. (shipping) + $30 VIP upgrade =
$86.00
UnderCoverTourist $27.95 + $26.95 + $30(upgrade) + 0 (free shipping) =
$84.90
Restaurants.com $25 off coupon is $4.00 (with the 60% off coupon) + ($56.60-$25) + $31.03 + $30 (upgrade) =
$96.63
You can only use 1 coupon per family, and it's only good for 1 adult ticket.
Take $30 off each price if you don't want the VIP upgrade. $20 off for Arabian Nights site as the VIP upgrade is "free", but if you don't get it, you get $10 off each full price ticket.
I did Pirates last year and we had a blast! It's easy to see that audience participation is key.. if the audience wasn't going along with the show.. it could have been pretty lame. The food was by far the worst..lol. We ate at Denny's on the way back to the hotel.
We did the upgrade here too.. it's pricey. But since out tickets were prepaid it didn't feel like I was paying that much. Getting the upgrade (we got the best one) got us upfront, dead-center, and my daughter wearing a red-coat "uniform" shooting at the bad guys on stage. So we had lots of fun
We met a family in WDW (they were kind enough to let us share their Wishes cruise with their family) who also saw the show. They thought it was so bad they walked out! I read bad reviews too (dd still wanted to go).. so, I guess it's hit or miss.
We also did Medievel Times.. yep, upgraded too. DD liked it.. I thought it was so so. We had great audience participation here too... a bit too much I think. A much older 'gentleman' sitting next to my daughter kept yelling "off with their heads!" in a such an enthusiatic manner it had me a bit worried
DD loved eating with her hands though! No untensils.
We plan on doing the Dolly one this year in addition to Arabian Nights. Has anyone done that? I'd love to hear about it.
If you do Arabian Nights I'm sure you won't be dissapointed! Just don't expect good food at any of the dinner shows. Have fun!
