How is the Arabian Nights dinner show? Are there any others that are worth seeing? I've been warned to stay away from the Pirates one. Thoughts?

TIA!

Can I ask why you were warned against the Pirate one? If you go on mousesavers website they have a write up on the dinner shows, hope that helps.

We love Arabian Nights and we go just about every visit to the world. My dd loves horses so I always upgrade to VIP.
UndercoverTourist.com is the best price by a small margin over TicketMania.

Three comparisons for 1 Child & 1 Adult ticket:
ArabianNights.com $56.60 + $31.03 (upgrade to VIP is free with online order) = $87.63
TicketMania $27.00 + $23.00 + $6. (shipping) + $30 VIP upgrade = $86.00
UnderCoverTourist $27.95 + $26.95 + $30(upgrade) + 0 (free shipping) = $84.90

Restaurants.com $25 off coupon is $4.00 (with the 60% off coupon) + ($56.60-$25) + $31.03 + $30 (upgrade) = $96.63 :scared1: You can only use 1 coupon per family, and it's only good for 1 adult ticket.

Take $30 off each price if you don't want the VIP upgrade. $20 off for Arabian Nights site as the VIP upgrade is "free", but if you don't get it, you get $10 off each full price ticket.

I did Pirates last year and we had a blast! It's easy to see that audience participation is key.. if the audience wasn't going along with the show.. it could have been pretty lame. The food was by far the worst..lol. We ate at Denny's on the way back to the hotel.
We did the upgrade here too.. it's pricey. But since out tickets were prepaid it didn't feel like I was paying that much. Getting the upgrade (we got the best one) got us upfront, dead-center, and my daughter wearing a red-coat "uniform" shooting at the bad guys on stage. So we had lots of fun

We met a family in WDW (they were kind enough to let us share their Wishes cruise with their family) who also saw the show. They thought it was so bad they walked out! I read bad reviews too (dd still wanted to go).. so, I guess it's hit or miss.

We also did Medievel Times.. yep, upgraded too. DD liked it.. I thought it was so so. We had great audience participation here too... a bit too much I think. A much older 'gentleman' sitting next to my daughter kept yelling "off with their heads!" in a such an enthusiatic manner it had me a bit worried :scared:
DD loved eating with her hands though! No untensils.

We plan on doing the Dolly one this year in addition to Arabian Nights. Has anyone done that? I'd love to hear about it.

If you do Arabian Nights I'm sure you won't be dissapointed! Just don't expect good food at any of the dinner shows. Have fun!

From GreaterOrlandoDiscounts.com

"Get yourself invited to TONY N’ TINA’S WEDDING, now celebrating its 17th Hilarious Year in New York! At TONY N’ TINA’S WEDDING you don’t just watch the show…you are the show. It’s an all-inclusive event where you’re treated like one of the family.

The event begins with the side-splitting ceremony where anything can happen (and usually does!). Then, it’s time for the most hilarious wedding reception you’ll ever attend! You’ll enjoy a full Italian meal, raise a champagne toast, eat the wedding cake and dance the night away at the party you and your friends will be laughing about for years to come. The show stars "Tina," the headstrong 20-something party girl bride with an attitude – and "Tony," the rowdy, handsome, yet charming groom-to-be.

Other hilarious characters emerge from this quirky cast, which includes an entire wedding party of guests ranging from "Connie," the pregnant maid of honor, to "Father Mark," a priest who thinks he's hip. As the evening unfolds, the only guarantee is that there will be plenty of drama all around.

The New York City/ Broadway production of Tony 'n' Tina's Wedding, which has been a hit since the mid-1980s, is produced by Jeff Gitlin and Raphael Berko, who are also the producers of the show in Las Vegas and Bermuda. They also produced the show at the Hyatt Regency Maui Resort and Spa from 2002-2004."

I googled it and found this.. hope it helps. Adult gate price: $64.49, Child $37.38. Their price $56.03/$34.53

I hadn't heard of this. Sounds like fun! We are off to Disney in 19 days!!

We weren't sure what to expect when we first went a couple of years ago and we were blown away.

I *Love* Arabian Nights and it is now one of the must-do's for us when we are in Orlando!

Well worth it!
