This may be off topic? Not sure...

But I am wondering about the off park dinner attractions and the Blue Man Group.

Have you seen either Pirates Dinner Show or Arabian Nights Dinner Show or Blue Man Group (no dinner)?
If so, how was the show itself? Would a 9 year old boy and 15 year old girl enjoy it? How was the food?

But most important...and why I posted this here... How is the wheelchair seating? Do they "take care" of their guests and family if there is a family member in a power chair?

Thank you for your feedback!! :)

There is so much to do at WDW, we just don't ever get off-site. Plus we'd have to drive, and load DS's wheelchair and all that hassle. So I cannot opine on your question on off-site dinner shows.

But, in a couple of weeks, I will come back and post about the wheelchair seating at Spirit of Aloha at the Poly and Cirque du Soleil. Now on our family's 10th WDW trip, we are finally going to do a dinner show and Cirque (OK, the latter is not a dinner show, but it is quite a spectacle). So in the first 9 visits, we have not done either of these; so as I said, there's just so much to do on-site we don't bother with the roadside attractions over on the 192 strip. (Spoken like a Disney stockholder... ;))

As for Blue Man Group, which is tons of fun, you can come see that in Boston. The wheelchair seating there is pretty decent. A lot of our European relatives came to visit this summer with the weak dollar and all, and were very enthusiastic about Boston. DS took the Duck Tour last week with his PCA and just loved it, even tho he is from here.

We've done the Arabian Knights dinner show in the past. W/c seating is front row vs. the "bleacher" type seating behind for other guests. I enjoyed the show and esp. seeing the horses perform- the training and skill of the horses was amazing. The food really wasn't appealing. When we ordered the tickets we informed the agent that one guest would be in a power chair so our seating was reserved in this special area. I'm not sure about Blue Man Group as all their seating is accessible and we've never done the Pirates dinner show. For dinner shows there's also the Dolly Parton "stampede" which looks like it might be fun for children of the ages the OP mentioned.---Kathy

We did Blue Man Group at Universal last November with a wheelchair. Our seats were fantastic! Just outside the Splash Zone. If you're unfamiliar, its about 10 rows back from the stage.

There are spaces for wheelchairs interspersed with the seating for other members of the party. I showed the usher our tickets and was guided to our seats. We had a manual chair, and I pushed it.

As for the show itself, it was FANTASTIC! BF wasn't too thrilled with the idea of a show, but he even admitted it was a lot of fun! Its highly entertaining both visually and acoustically, and there is audience participation. There's nothing racy, so its appropriate for children of all ages. My top advice: don't get there late!
