Hello all : was wondering if anyone knew of a good family dinner show, we tryed to book HDDR but I didn't want to eat at 9:30 p.m. so that's now out.
Does anyone else know of a good dinner show other than , Arabian nights or medieval times that's not to far from WDW ? We are going in April and wanted to try something different this time..thanks

There's also the luau at the Polynesian, and Sea World also offers their own luau dinner. (We've done the Poly one 2x and had a great time!). Of the other non-WDW dinner shows, the reviews I've read said the Pirate Dinner show was the best of the lot.

A CM told me the best time to get a reservation for HDDR is 48 hours prior to when you want to go. Because that is when people can cancel and still get their full refund. You might want to give it a shot.

Anyone know much about the SeaWorld Luau? My girls were wanting a luau and I was undecided as to whether to go to the Spirit of Aloha or this one????:)

We've done the medieval times show and kids 7 and 6 at the time, loved it. Do some searching on the boards and you'll get lots of reviews. I've read lots of good things about Dixie and lots of bad about the pirates. I've also heard good things about sleuths if your kids are old enough to enjoy it. Also, tripadvisor has lots of good reviews of all the options in the area.

Is there any site that shows the menus for each of the dinner shows? In particular the Hoopdy doo and he luaus.

Don't know where in NC you are from, so you may have done the Dixie Stampede in Pigeon Forge, TN or at Myrtle Beach. If you haven't done it before, it is fun for kids of all ages. They do sort of run you in and out, though. Still might be worth checking into.

The SW Luau is very good, foodwise excellent and the show is very entertaining, also you don't need SW admission to get in, in fact u can get into SW about 4pm with your Luau ticket therefore u can get a few free hours in SW after the show if the park is still open then can still enjoy the park, done pirates, dixie stampede and arabian, but the SW luau put them all in shade

Thats good to hear I want to try the Luau at Seaworld we have gotten season passes there so I think I can get a discount on teh Luau!! I hope we can go in May/June when we are there!

If u book it online via the SW passport site u get a good discount, that's what we did think we got it for about $31 each

a new one opened in February...Tony and Maria's Wedding....I haven't been, but my sister went to the one in NY and she had a ball. Barb
