We are a group of 9 planning on dining the same table/ rotation
I recall large tables at Lumiere's. Can large group be seated at one table or will we have to split into two tables?

Thanks in advance.

While you cannot make the request prior to boarding, when you arrive, explain your situation and the numbers. We had 14 and they were able to put together a giant table that was in the middle of each dining room! We did it again the next year with 12 and the same situation only off to the side.

They have always done everything possible to make things perfect!

Oops--also make sure that reservations knows everyone in your party has the same seating (early or late) and let them know that you are together in the same party. This way they will have the group in the same rotation.

We had two late reservations join us this year for the Magic on the 14th. They only had late seating but will request early when they arrive.

Thanks for your tips!!! I will be booking the 3 cabins ressies at the same time. I will make sure I tell our TA we want same request for dinner rotations. I understand that it is just a request but I knew someone with the experience could help. (I love this board) Thanks for your speedy reply. Enjoy your cruise!!

We were a party of 9 sailing back in May and we all sat at one table. We had 3 stateroomss. Just be sure to tell TA to link your ressies together and you'll be seated together.

Just have your TA or DCL or whoever you booked through be sure your reservations are linked.
We had 10 people in 3 staterooms and did this. Even so, when we got to dinner our first night we were split up 6/4. It didnt really matter since we were right next to each other, but once our waiters realized we were together, they made sure to have a table for 10 set up for us the next 2 nights.

It will be interesting to see what they will do with our large group in the diining room... we are a group of 19 (6 adults & 13 kids!)

Our info is all hooked together and TA made sure of it... but we'll see...

One time we sailed with a party of 16 and were put at the very large table in the center of each dining room. the only negative to that is it is tough to converse with people at the other end. We rotated quite a bit around the table during the cruise.

This past time in August we had a group of 17 and had three tables near each other with the same servers. This worked out fine also. Older teens at one table, young kids at one table and the adults at the third table!

I thought our group is large. I am just a little nervous with everyone being at one table. But I didn't think it would be a problem. I think having a large group going itself is going to be a blast!! I can always trust this board for the latest and best advice!!

Thanks again,

We were a party of 20 in 7 staterooms on the 9/14/02 Magic.

We were seated at two tables of 10 in all the dining rooms.
