Can you choose your rotation? Is any one of them better than the other? I know we will be early seating for the western 7 day cruise that is all. Which night would be best for Palos if I get a chance to choose? As you can tell, this is my first Disney cruise and it is SO much more confusing and fun that any other I have been on.

You will learn your dining rotation and table # when you receive your KTTW card before boarding the ship. The first letters of the restaurants is listed for your rotation. As far as I know you have no say in the rotation as this is assigned before boarding. You will know your rotation before making Palo reservations.

Grace you can put in a request for a certian rotation if you call DCL or ask your TA to do it. we have requested a rotation and hope to get it. thanks

What's the best dinner rotation for a 7 day western? I've heard people talk about how they would like to have the formal night when they are at Lumiere's. Does it matter?

There is no best, they all are great. You're on the ship, you're not cooking or cleaning. Fancy 4 course meal and you can try anything and everything if you want to - without fear of having to pay big bucks for something you don't like. You can't go wrong once you're on the ship.

I know that's not the answer you wanted, but IMHO it's the correct answer.

Once again, nope!!! If you look at Animators Pallette, it's naturally black and white (the walls (with grafitti), chairs, linnens). What's more formal than that!! The only "odd" restaurant for formal night would be Parrot Cay. You know, once you are seated at the table and interacting with your family, tablemates and your wait staff, the theming kinda disappears because you are having a great time with good company (usually) and great food (always).

To me, dinning rotations are not something to stress over. Mostly they are assigned by DCL and you have little influence upon it (your families make up is the biggest determination as to which rotation you get.)

You need to let some magic come find you. If you "plan it all out" there is very little room for real magic to happen.

Your right jrabbit... I find myself planning (stressing) over way too much, and I need to keep in mind that this is suppose to be a VACATION!!!! :Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce:

jrabbit ITA! I started stressing about dining rotations, Palo Ressies and when to get to the ship to get the Ressies..I finally gave up and have decided that no matter WHAT we will have a great trip....it may not be what others have but it will be great for us because we are together!

Heidi - I'm with you. I've heard so much about the mass rush for ressie for Palo and the spa, but you know what, it isn't that big of a deal for us and since we're on a 7 day, chances are we'll get something. I want to be able to get up Saturday morning and take our time getting to the ship (not too late though;) ) and then take it all :teeth:
