We really enjoyed the show. Had the fun having my DS chosen to be in the show. He was the texas ranger and was cute as a button!! We thought the food was very good. We both loved the Shortcake and really liked the Ribs. We are not big fried chicken eaters. Thought the salad was excellent and the corn w/ peppers was o.k. I don't eat baked beans but DH said they were good. Our server was terrific, refilled us all the time and kept reminding us to ask for whatever we wanted because it was all included.

This was an unscheduled stop as we were staying at the Poly. I think this was the best food we had all week. I had the macademia crusted mahi mahi and DH had the Tuna steak. We had a duck pot sticker appetizer that was excellent and as reported on the boards the desserts were to die for. While there is nothing special decor wise about this restaurant it is a really great chose for a nice meal

My DH and I both had feasts. We ordered one of each feast and that gave us a variety to taste. We liked everything except the Chicken Battista which was a bit dry. I really liked the lemon chicken dish and the beaf-kabobs. The dancing was nice and service excellent. We would do this again.

This is a great meal. For those that do not know, they bring you grilled meat and shrimp on scewers. all you can eat. There are also dumpling appetizers, salad, bread and veggies. I was suprised to find that the turkey was my favorite. Moist and yummy. Pork was a little dry but still nice. DH ate about 20 shrimp and loved mem. My DS wouldn't eat the food so they brought him mac and cheese and a cheesburger. The only problem was that the waitress told me that if he didn't want the meal she could provide kid food. I suggested that she bring some mac and cheese and I would have him try some meat even though DS wanted a hamburger. DS was having one of those days and I finally asked her to bring him a cheesburger. She ended up charging me for 2 kids meals which together cost more than the kids price for the "all you could eat meal". I didn't complain because I did order them both, but I thought this was a little odd. Add that to the bucket snow cone thing he had for dessert and I paid $17 for his meal!

Loved this show. The fire twirlling was phenomenal. The food was good. We didn't enjoy it as much as HDDR's food but it was good. Meal includes Ribs, chicken, rice, veggies and a good chocolate dessert. Service was O.K. nothing great.

In general, we really did not have a bad meal and where happy with all of our chooses.

Thanks for sharing your reviews. Did I read your post right? You spent 25 days at WDW?? Thats awesome.

Sad to say I did not spend 25 days at disney world. Typo on my part. We spent 5 at Disney and 5 at Universal so it was a nice long trip but not quite that nice!!

Thank's for posting,HDDR is one of our favorite's.Great that your DS is now one of Pioneer Hall Players.I'm one to I was Davey's angel.::yes:: :wave2:

hi robsmom:wave:
thanks for sharing your reviews::yes::

we will be trying kona cafe and possibly ohana::yes:: my youngest is very picky so it's good to see that you can order something else for the kids at ohana's,last thing what is the snow cone bucket?

thanks eve::MinnieMo

The snow cone bucket is a sandle bucket and shovel set in which the bucket is filled with one really really giant snow cone. It is a small bucket but still big for a snow cone. DS ate 1/4 of it and the rest melted. You get to keep the bucket. When you 1st walk into ohana's they show you the dessert choices, so they had DS hooked before we even ate!

hi:wave:
that sounds like a great dessert to have::yes:: my boys would love to order this:D

thanks eve::MinnieMo
