We're staying at the Poly when we go in a few weeks. Here's our plans: dinner first night at Flying Fish (with our son), 2nd night: dinner at MGM (Brown Derby and Fantasmic - no child), 3rd night: we don't know what to do... we want to stay closer to the Poly for seeing fireworks and such... we will have our son. Should we go somewhere early or eat at Ohana? We really appreciate a good meal, so I don't want to be disappointed. We considered somewhere at Grand Floridian or running over to the Cape May Cafe for an early dinner. The last night we are either eating at the California Grill or Artist's Point (no child)... which would you recommend? TIA for all help.

FYI: Last year we ate at Boma (we stayed at AKL), Victoria and Alberts, Chefs de France, Wolfgang Puck's Dining Room and Beaches and Cream. All were good, but I want to try some new places this year.

How about Narcoosee's?? It's right where you want to be, and you can easily see the fireworks from their deck outside the restaurant.

How about the Kona Cafe? You can't see the firewords from there, but eat before the fireworks and then walk out to the beach to watch them. Perfect place for families, nice menu, good service, and fair prices.

Narcoosee is a great choice for watching the fireworks and getting an excellent meal with great service. The view of the castle is terrific at night.

I would pick Artist Pt. for the last meal but I have heard many good reviews of California Grill. Artist Pt. is my favorite restaurant and it tends to be on the quieter side. The salmon and berry cobbler dessert are out of this world.

Narcoossees is good. Love Konas. We just go out on the beach to watch the fireworks. California Grill would be my choice. We went to Artist Pt recently and were disappointed.

I agree with Narcoosee's. The food is very good along with the service but the atmosphere is somewhat casual. If you time it right, you can see the electrical water pageant float by, and if fireworks are scheduled it's a great place to watch them. And then there's that great view of the Castle.....

Well I've eaten at 'Ohana's and obviously recommend but from the sounds of the reviews here Narcoosees sounds great too and you may get a better view of the fireworks from there.

I don't think you have any need to go to Cape May Cafe (even though I love it) when you have so many great choices all around you.

California Grill would be my vote for the last night :)
