Dinner res. question for June

I need some opinions about reservations in June. I am trying to keep my itinerary flexable and was hoping to try to make reservations the night before for the following evening. In case we change our minds about which park we go to on any particular day. I can make some reservations now but I was hoping to wait. We will be a party of 6 adults staying at WL from June 11 to June 18. I just read about the new June hours for the first 2 weeks and am beginning to worry about the crowd level. I have been to WDW many times but never in June.

It depends on where you want to eat and if you are flexible about times, but if you want some of the more popular spots especially character meals I would make my PS's now and work around those. I made mine for Chef Mickey's at the 90 day mark and have tried to change to an earlier dinner time and can't get it. We are also going in June, and it sounds to me like it is going to be pretty crowded, so I would definitely go ahead and make the ones you really want. I heard some people who went during spring break who didn't make ps's in advance couldn't get in for any sit down meals. Better safe than sorry.

We've gone in June before, and we'll be back in just a few weeks!!! It can get a little crowded, and some of the "popular" restaurants may not take walk-ins. Its hard to tell. I made a few PSs at the restaurants that we really want to eat at, that way, I know we won't be disappointed! For the rest of our meals, we'll just try for a PS when we get there too!!
