Dinner rec before Spectromagic / Wishes

So I am considering changing my ADRs (hopefully for the last time LOL) and looking for any recs on restaurant suggestions (not a buffet) for dinner before going to Spectromagic & Wishes at MK. I'm guessing somewhere along the monorail makes sense, but we do have an under 2 year old, so we want to make sure he's comfortable too. Or is it too much to do in one evening??? We are bringing his stroller, so should he need to nap, he should be ok.

On a related note, if we drive to dinner at a resort near MK, can we leave the car there until after the shows? We are staying at Pop so I think parking is free for us throughout Disney (pls correct me if I am mistaken).

***Note - we do have a dinner res for Kona, but we were hoping to see the Electric Water Pageant after that - dinner just after 7, Water Pageant at 9. Figure it's too much work to see all 3 events in 1 night LOL.

I keep thinking of Liberty Tree Tavern. It's not a buffet, and when you're done you'll be right on the parade route. It's still crowded down there, but it's not as crazy as Main St.

i think either in the park or kona is an option for you. it is really easy to grab the monorail from the poly and head over to the MK.

It can get very crowded at night around parade/wishes time. It may be easier to be in the park and then just find a spot though

Hey Jody,

We are doing Kona the previous day at about 7ish to see the Water Pageant at 9 from the beach. The problem with Kona before Spectro is that they don't serve dinner until 5 p.m.; it would be pushing it. I want to be able to enjoy our meal and also make it over to MK to see Spectro & Wishes. We wound up making a 430 res at 1900 Park Fare. Never been there either, and it's a buffet, so the timing will be easier to work out.
