Dinner Package - Fantasmic, which showing??

Which showing of the two shows do you get with your package?

We would only want the first showing as kids will be horrible if we do the 2nd and then attempt to get them up in the morning for an early start at Universal Studios.

I had a 5:30 reservation at the BB, and got tickets to the first show. I would assume that if you had an early reservation, you'd get a ticket to the first show. Disney Dining could confirm, though.

I booked a package yesterday and was asked to choose which Fantasmic I wanted to attend. It seemed, generally, the 4-6 pm reservations were the first show, later than that was the second show.

In December we had a 4pm reservation. We had 5 kids with us, and our waitress told us she was assuming we wanted the first show. We said yes. She did say we could get 2nd if we wanted. But if you want the first, do an earlier reservation for sure.

We're going to do the first showing, so that we can just stay in place to watch the fireworks afterward. I intend for us to watch the fireworks from Main Street the next day, but I'm following Hydroguy's advice of trying to get Fantasmic and Fireworks early in case of weather cancellation.

Does anyone know if 6:00 pm is the cutoff reservation time to get tickets for the first show, or if there is a cutoff reservation time?

Yes, I was told yesterday that 6 pm was the cut off for the first show.

Thank you all very much, managed to get a reservation for all 13 of us at 5.50 pm so we can get to the first show.
