Dinner outside MDRs

On our upcoming Alaska cruise, since we're in port later than our dinner time, we may opt to skip our early seating dinner those days and go to a later dinner at Beach Blanket Buffet. I understand it's table service with many dishes from that night's MDR menu. But does anyone know if the desserts are also the same? I'd miss those more than the entrees!

Again, selected items from the other menu(s) available that evening. Not necessarily the whole dessert offering.

Thanks. Well, if we miss a particular dessert that's a small price to pay to savor as much time as we can at the various ports.

The dinner items are not all selected from the MDR menus, but include some of them, as well as a few of their own items they seem to consistently have. As for the deserts, they are unique and delicious, at least in our experience. The few times we've had dinner there we had a hard time choosing from the tempting deserts!
