Dinner once the park is closed...

While in Hollywood Studios, we have a reservation for a restaurant at 7:10- however the park closes at 7. I believe Fantasmic starts at 7, so there will still be people in the park. Generally, how does bussing work? We'll be staying at POP. If dinner takes 1.5 hours that has us needing transportation back around 8:45. Almost 2 hours after the park officially closes, but probably closer to 1 hour after everyone leaves from fantasmic.

There will be transportation available until every single guest is cleared from the park.

They say that they will continue to have at least one form of transport, so long as a guest of any kind is still in the park (likely a bus, but for POP thats a good thing). I have never heard of someone being stranded under normal circumstances, and dining on a reservation would count as normal. I also wonder what time of the year your trip is. They have been extending some DHS hours to 8pm.

Worst case scenerio... if you don't want a taxi, you could do a few things. I would imagine that a cast member at the front could radio for a bus. Its not that late at night. The busses should be out and running. Maybe pick you up on its way somewhere else even. OR you could walk the sidewalk to the boardwalk area, and catch their bus to a park (if there is one still open) or DTD/DS and transfer at that point to a POP bus.

I wouldn't let it effect your dining experience. You have plenty of options.

Thank you It will be the Thursday before presidents day weekend. I think the parks will be a bit busier that day, but the chaos will not hit until the Friday/Saturday.
