Any suggestions for a restaurant at a resort or downtown Disney for my husband and I? We are staying at the Wilderness Lodge in December so we'd like to explore at another resort. It will be our day off from the parks. Since we are on the dinning plan we were hoping to use only 1 dinning credit and not a signature restaurant.

Ohana at Polynesian. Boma at Animal Kingdom Lodge. Whispering Canyon Café at Wilderness Lodge.

I was a big fan of Boma and Sanaa at AKL. I also enjoyed the Wave at the Contempory. It is on the monorail so you can explore all those resorts as well before or after your meal.

Boatwright's Dining Hall at POR is definitely worth a try. Something different would be Afternoon tea at the GF which isn't considered dinner really but it filled us up! You get 3 courses and a pot of tea. Such a great experience and a must do for my husband and I.

We have 2 non park days and we are doing raglan road as one of them.

Two of our favorites are Boma at AKL and Cape May at the BC.

we don't do the DDP so no idea about that part...

restaurants I would consider for DH & I:
Raglan Road @DTD
Boma @AKL
Yachtsman Steakhouse @YC
'Ohana @poly

I was going to suggest Boatwrights also. If you go on a Wednesday-Saturday, Yehaa Bob Jackson performs at the River Roost - it's a really fun show. They also have beautiful property to stroll around, carriage rides and they have a boat to Downtown Disney if you want to go there also.

We have enjoyed Raglan Road on a couple of occasions and do enjoy it. Boma is our favourite buffet at WDW, so both good choices. We have heard some great things about Paradiso 37 and are going to try that this trip, and have heard that The Wave at the CR is an excellent restaurant too. We are also staying at WL, and it is just a short boat ride to CR for the Wave.

Raglan road or jiko or California grill. But we don't do dining plan so I have no idea how many dining points are required

We are staying at Caribbean Beach Resort and scheduled ADRs at other resorts as well to explore. We're doing Sanaa @ Animal Kingdom Lodge, Maya Grill at Coronado Springs Resort & Whispering Canyon Café (which is at your resort and not what you're looking for). We're also doing Paradiso 37 in Downtown Disney.

I don't get the raves for Raglan Road. Are there no Irish pubs where everyone lives?

I would head to the Boardwalk/Epcot area. You have all the restaurants of the Yacht & Beach Club, the Swan & Dolphin and the Boardwalk. That gives you at least 8 quality restaurants to choose from and you can explore the Yacht & Beach Club, the Swan & Dolphin Hotels and the Boardwalk Inn.

We love staying at the Yacht & Beach Club because when you add in the Epcot & HS restaurants there are 20 places to choose from for dining.

I do love Jiko & Sanaa though too. The AKL is a great hotel and they are two great restaurants.
