We are staying at CSR the week of 11/6 and will not have a car. My wife's grandparents (who live in Florida, don't they all) will be coming up to visit us and have dinner one night. The question is where to have dinner.

Their car is not big enough for all of us, so we can't go off property. They don't have park passes so we can't go into the parks to eat. The UG's rating of the Maya Grill at CSR is very poor. I guess that leaves Downtown Disney or something on the Boardwalk.

Any advice?

You should probably ask on the restaurant board too, they will have TONS of ideas. My suggestion would be to think of a restaurant in another resort. You can ride a bus to a park and then to a resort, or choose a monorail resort. It might be a little bit of a hassle, but the monorail ride might be fun for some just coming to visit...more fun than the buses anyway. I know I've been wanting to eat at Kona Cafe in the Polynesian and 1900 Park Fare in the GF. Just an idea...

If you want DTD, they have quite a few restaurants, and the Boardwalk has Spoodles which most people love.

If you're thinking of Downtown Disney, I would highly recommend Wolfgang Puck in the West Side.

I think it will be much easier for you to get to DTD than the BW from CSR.

I am not sure what their tastes are there are several resturants in the BW area, even YC/BC. The Yachtsman is great or Spoodles or even Cape May Cafe if they like seafood. After dinner you will be able to walk to the BW bridge and wact fireworks.

We have also done this with friends at Narcosse's in GF and watched Wishes.

Either way you will have a great evening!!

I suggest that they meet you at The Polynesian and eat at O'hana. You can take the bus to MK and get on the resort monorail to get there. It is great for big groups (SO much delicious food) and it is a nice atmosphere. We ate there for the first time last week and it is now my favorite.

You can also go t www.allearsnet.com and check out the menu section. It has all the menus and that may also play a part. Ther eare many great restaurants in all of the deluxe resorts. It also depends on what you want to spend etc. DO you want to spend alot alot??? etc. Telling that can also help us make some better geard suggestions.
