Hi

Does anyone know how to find information about the menus at the Fantasmic Dinner Package Restaurants. One member of my group can't have any food with wheat flour, so having a menu would be really useful.

I have been given a site called "debsallears" but when I searched nothing appeared.

First visit in October haven't booked any meals etc.. yet haven't planned anything either, am I mad ? Feel that it is too much like hard work, having gone through these pages tonight feel I'm suffering from information overload.

Can't we (me, hubby, 2 daughters 9 & 7 and sister, brother in law and nephew 11) just turn up in WDW and have a good time anyway !!!

Cheers

The site you are looking for is http://allearsnet.com/ :teeth:

The MGM restaurant menus can be found here

Restaurants that do the dinner package are Hollywood & Vine, Mam Melrose & Brown Derby iirc

Have fun browsing :earsboy:

Hi, Debs and welcome to the DIS! :wave2:

Here's the link to AllEarsNet - the menus are all listed under the Dining section.

I don't think you're mad not to have booked any meals - you will be fine in October - but I do think a bit of planning is sensible. At the very least, have a list of all the parks and attractions you want to visit.

Each day Disney allows its resort guests to enter a nominated park an hour earlier than the general public. They also ran a test in May for a similar perk in the evening and it is likely that this will have been introduced as 'business as usual' by October. Unless you are staying onsite, the best way of avoiding the crowds is to avoid these parks on these days. At the moment, the Extra Magic Hour schedule is as follows:

MK - Sun, Thu
Epcot - Wed
MGM - Tue, Sat
AK - Mon, Fri

Great news Deb, I have been listening out to see if the May trial was going to be introduced. Do you know any more?

Thanks

Karen

It's only rumour at the moment, Karen, but a pretty informed one I think!

for the person in your group with a food allergy, you can make special arrangements with the restaurant, regardless of what's on the menu...
you can check this out when you make the reservations...
what i do, is i call a few days in advance and speak directly with the chef (sometimes i only call the day before)...
the chefs are extraordinarily accomodating....

also, each restuarant has a full ingredient book that you can request to see...
we made same day reservations at the plaza restaurant in the magic kingdom (since i already know that we have a few choices there we can have without special order)...when i was making the reservations, there was a woman in front of me who had requested the book and was going through it to see if she could eat anything..
it's EXTREMELY detailed....
if there's one thing disney is great about, it's food allergy problems (actually disney is great about a lot of things, and they're great on this too)....
