Oh, are we brave or what? :rotfl2:
Late afternoon we made an impromptu trek to MK and rode PotC again. :cool1:
MK was MUCH busier than yesterday. It was manageable, but difficult to walk around. The line we stood in for Pirates was shorter. (15 minute wait)
What we really were hoping was the taco restaurant across for Pirates to be open.
It wasn't.
So that must be a lunch only counter service.

As we were leaving we thought -- Let's try Kona, just for grins.
A table for two -- 45 minute wait.
Considering we just ate lunch there yesterday :goodvibes we decided not to wait. Although I did not think that unreasonable.
We decided to try Maya Grill at CSR.
So we drive over there.

That was an odd experience. We stood at the podium waiting for someone to show. After 3 - 5 minutes they do. And he is marking what tables are open. And we can see in. The place looked about half full.

Table for two? 45 wait. :confused3

Now that one kinda frosted us. I would not have minded had there not been an over abundance of empty tables. Maybe they were waiting for ADRs. But with Pepper Market steps away, we opted for that.

PM was maybe half full, and our meals were pretty decent. DH ate a Prime Rib dinner, which looked pretty good. He said the grilled veggies were not hot, and the baked potato was a little on the overdone side. But that did not stop him from eating everything. He said the meat was pretty good. His meal sure looked good.

I ordered the pork (with peanut sauce) at the Chinese station. I was expecting a shredded pork. But was given three pretty nice sized slices of cooked pork, with a peanut sauce over them. Then had chinese veggies, and a large bowl of rice.

Wasn't bad at all. :) Not the best I have had. But in a pinch, pretty darn good. The veggies tasted fresh, and the pork was good too. I like a strong peanut sauce. Theirs was mild. But still good.

By the time we left PM was maybe 3/4 the way full.
