Hello!

I am taking a solo trip to UOR in a few weeks and wanted to do a sit down dinner. Any suggestions for a "me party" meal?

Hmmmmm.... I'd go to Mythos and ask for a table with a fabulous view of the lagoon. But.... this time of year they may not be open for dinner.

I've heard the upper level of NBC Sports Grill & Brew has great views of Citywalk....? It sounds simply lovely to sit, treat myself to some delicious food, and people-watch!! :lovestruc

Are you staying in one of the hotels? They all have nice choices there too as well as Citwalk.......NBA used to be fairly quiet and I know some single diners felt comfortable in there, but of course it's gone now......

so definitely consider the hotels too.......NBC which snoop mentioned is getting good reviews from most people......

Only place I wouldn't recommend is Bubba Gumps.........

After reading your Bubba Gump's review, schumi, I don't blame you. :-) I have generally had good food experiences at Bubba Gump's, but I agree that it definitely wouldn't be the best choice for a single diner. I wouldn't want to be put on the spot to do the Forrest Gump trivia for sure!!!!

Cowfish is a nice place...you could ask for an outdoor table and people watch...they also have some nice cocktails to enjoy while you observe the happenings at CityWalk.

lol......yep, not a great experience food wise for us......actually the Gump trivia questions were our highlight.......of course only if you`ve seen the movie........::yes::

I'd look at any place that has a seating area at a bar or in front of a kitchen. Tchoup Tchoup has one, right?

That's a good idea....yes, Tchoup Chop has that as has Jakes at RPR.

Cowfish also had people eat on bar seats in front of the kitchen too.

Ditto to Cowfish, just got back and ate there twice, every table has a good view of City walk or eat at the sushi bar and watch the chefs work. Also at Cabana Bay the Bayliner Diner...the Braised Brisket Grilled Cheese Sandwich for $9.80 is a must get if you like BBQ and Cheese!!!
