Hi-
Our family is planning a holiday trip to WDW. We love the Plaza at the MK and always make it a point to eat dinner there. I am a little worried how we will do it now that the restaurant no longer accepts ADRs. We will be in Disney 12/28-1/4. Does anyone have any advice or thoughts about what we will experience trying to get in for dinner? I realize we are going the most crowded time of the year. Keeping my fingers crossed.

Thanks!

I'm sorry you got no replies to this. I am wondering the same thing, and was going to start a thread about it. We're only two, going 10/29-11/9, and I thought about eating an early dinner here on our MNSSHP day, but am thinking it will probably be difficult to get in now that there are no more ADRs. Hoping someone who has eaten there recently will respond!

When did The Plaza stop taking reservations? That would explain why I have been unable to make one for any of the 10 days we are going to be there!!!! It was tough to get a reservation I can't imagine it will be easy to get a table without one. I will try. Going to be there October 6 through the 16th.

From what I understand, they stopped taking them when Skipper Canteen started taking them. This makes no sense to me, but who knows. Let us know how you make out! Good luck!

Were you able to get a table? How long was the wait?

We are also a family of 5. Honestly, if I needed a sit-down meal for my sanity (which is a given) I wouldn't rely on a maybe. Make an ADR at any available TS or eat at a QS during less busy times.

Since "busy" is a foregone conclusion during your vacation, I'd consider leaving the park and getting an ADR for The Wave. We loved it for breakfast and it was a welcome break from the mania of the park...and that was during a "low crowd" time in January.
