My company is hosting a gathering at Disney World. I have to take a few customers out to dinner one night and altogether we are looking at 13 people. Do you have any recommendations for someplace that can accommodate a large group outside of the parks. Our group will be at the Beach Club but we can go anywhere.

Thanks in advance.

I would check out the restaurants at Disney Springs. They're more adult-oriented so possibly more appropriate for a business gathering. There's so many to choose from there, it's hard to make a specific recommendation; also there's a lot of different types of cuisine and price points there. Some are on Open Table as well as Disney's system. Other options are to look at Swan or Dolphin. They cater to conventioneers so may also be more appropriate for business gatherings and it would be very close to BC so you could all walk.

Echoing @kiford's recommendations. I know Wine Bar George and Boathouse in Disney Springs also have private rooms, although am not sure on cost or minimums. The one "downside" to Disney Springs would be the coordination of transportation. I probably wouldn't choose the bus system for a customer dinner.

At Swan and Dolphin (easy walk), BlueZoo is my favorite (actually a top 5 favorite in all of WDW) but Shula's and Il Mulino get great reviews pretty consistently as well if the BZ menu didn't appeal to you. I've seen large groups at BlueZoo many times and it generally is a more "adult" atmosphere although you will see kids from time to time. Flying Fish across Crescent Lake (again, easily walkable) is also a great restaurant. I've seen them set up a large group in the back of the restaurant. I've also seen a large group in the Yachtsman Steakhouse (adjacent to Beach Club). Yachtsman has been a little inconsistent for me so not sure it would be a top recommendation but it's a solid contender.

Another DS restaurant with private rooms is Morimoto Asia; wouldn't be surprised if the same wasn't true of Maria and Enzo's, as well as Enzo's.
Given the hotel you are staying at you'll have easy access to and from Disney Springs.

We stayed at Beach club a few weeks ago and saw a large group (appeared to be from a convention) having lunch at Ale and Compass. I didn't count, but it appeared to be 16+ people.

Ale and Compass is a little more casual/less expensive than some of the other suggestions here, not sure if you need something more "high end" or not.

I would definitely consider one of the Swan/Dolphin restaurants - Il Mulino, bluezoo or Shula's. It is so much easier to deal with Swan/Dolphin dining reservations directly through Swan/Dolphin than calling WDW dining for a WDW restaurant. You can also simply walk to Swan/Dolphin from Beach Club. The food at the Swan/Dolphin restaurants is very good.

There are a number of fun restaurants we've done large groups at (up to 22 people the one year!). The buffet at Boma is one of our favorites with a large group - we all sat together, and the options are so varied that people can enjoy trying food they like - and trying new items, if they're adventurous. The atmosphere and service are really good.

I would also agree with Morimoto's at DS, and BlueZoo at the Dolphin - nice restaurants that would meet your group's needs.

Have the company cough up a couple of Minnie Vans to get over to DS and back again. Unless your customers want to hang around DS afterwards.
