Hello,

Does anyone have a recommendation for a good dinner experience for our family? We have two girls age 4 and 6. We did the Hoop Dee Do Review last year and we all loved it. We already have tickets to the SeaWorld Luau. Any opinions on Medieval Times, Abrabian Nights, the Pirate Dinner? Any others? I'm especially looking for comments about the suitability for kids. Any opinions on the theme restaurants? Are any of them good enough to qualify as the night's entertainment?

Thanks in advance!

Some of my favorite restaurants in Disney are Chefs de Frace in Epcot. The food and service were great. I give it a :thumbsup2! One of my other favorites was the Spirit of Aloha, they have a great show and activities for the kids. However there is not a food choice and you are served salad, roasted chicken and ribs. Another favorite of mine is the Prime Time Cafe in Hollywood Studios. The food is Great, and it is fun for the kids. Also, you will want to try the Liberty Tree Tavern, although there is no food choice, there is a big selection, the food includes chicken or turkey, ham, mashed potatoes, macaroni and cheese, and green beans all served on a big platter, For desert they have a warm apple cobler, YUM! Good Luck and Have Fun!!!!!:)

Am interested in the three shows mentioned as well. Would like to do an off site dinner show one night

We went to the Orlando Medieval Times and had a blast. While our party was all adults, there were plenty of kids in the audience and they appeared to have a great time! Some parts of the show are a little cheesy, but it's all in good fun and really once you get into it, it's really an experience that the whole family will enjoy. The one drawback I hear from most people about Medieval Times is that there are no utensils for eating. However, it's all a part of the experience. There are lots of medieval things to look at before the show and while waiting you can just enjoy sitting in the castle. With your little ones being girls, the knights will throw flowers during the show, and they tend to throw them to the younger girls. I saw plenty of little ones giggle and blush after getting a flower tossed to them. I think Medieval Times is fun for all ages as long as you know what to expect: Some cheesy parts to the show and no utensils. But the horses and tournament more than make up for it. Hope this helps. :goodvibes

We did the Hoop De Doo last year and loved it, are doing the spirit of aloha this year, two years ago we did the Seaworld luau and were disappointed, did the dixie Stampede when it was there, it was fun. May do the Medieval one this year as well, but we do not have children with us.

Have not been to Arabian yet, but Medieval Times and Pirates. Between those two I would suggest Medieval, but then I have not been to Pirates in about 8 years. Maybe with all of the "Pirates" movies it could have a different effect on the little ones who are into those movies.

To me, there are so many to choose from at the Disney Resort that we have never been to the others. Once I am on property, I don't leave.

Having two girls at that age, I would be sure to go to 1900 Park Fare for dinner one night. The characters are fantastic, especially the step mother & step sisters.

There is also Chef Mickeys. I think all kids young and old love this place. ;)

Ohana is another one that's fun for kids.

Yes, we love the Disney dinners as well, but we did so many of them last time that we thought we would give something else a try. And, since we have our own car, getting there would be a breeze too. Thanks!!
