Dinner dress?

we are going on a 4 night cruise on dream next week. I saw it said no shorts at dinner but when we went a few years ago my husband and son wore shorts. How strict is this? What are people wearing?

The only "dress code" for dining in the Main Dining Rooms is "no swimwear or tank tops for dinner". Beyond that you will see all manner of dress, from shorts to evening wear.

That rule has changed. They can wear shorts. Just no bathing suits
