Dinner Deja Vu? Liberty Tree and Garden Grill - food basically the same?

I've already booked both these meals, and after looking at threads and photos, I'm beginning to realize that these meals are actually very similiar.

Has anyone eaten at both and will it feel like dinner deja vu, or are they different enough? Do you think I should do one or other?

Doesn't Garden Grill serve fish? I don't believe Liberty Tree does. and Garden Grill has characters, whereas Liberty Tree does not. Can't come up with any other differences - these aren't places I tend to frequent.

let's see... we like both but find them to be "different" even though some of the food is the same, the presentation is different...
GG starts w/yummy bread and honey butter... don't recall LTTs bread
GG has a salad w/a ranch dressing... LTT strawberry vinaigrette
GG's main course is sliced steak, sliced turkey and fried fish (it's always been catfish) plus chicken tenders for the kids if requested
LTTs main course is roast beef, sliced turkey and ham
they both offer mashed potatoes, mac/cheese and veggies, but GGs veggies are a stand-out! we've always had baby carrots and other more "delicate" veggies that taste like they just came from the Living w/the Land ride!
Dessert at GG has changed over the years... LTT has a fruit crisp w/ice cream (we've always gotten apple)

Liberty Tree Tavern:
DECLARATION SALAD - Tossed Mixed Greens, served with our special Tavern Strawberry Vinaigrette Dressing

PATRIOT'S PLATTER - Roasted turkey breast, carved beef, and smoked pork loin, with mashed potatoes, seasonal vegetables, herb bread stuffing, and Macaroni and Cheese.

Rolls and gravy also included.

DESSERTS -Fruit crisp with vanilla ice cream included.

Garden Grill:

Oatmeal Cluster Rolls with Honey Butter

Land Greenhouse Salad with Buttermilk Ranch and Double Smoked Dressing

Grilled Salt and Pepper Flank Steak

Roasted All Natural Turkey Breast with Cranberry-Orange Relish

Seasonal Fish of the Day

Cornbread Stuffing, Potatoes, Garden Fresh Vegetables

Freshly Baked Harvest Fruit Buckle

When we went to Garden Grill in July 2009, the fish was mahi-mahi, and the fruit buckle was blueberry (MmMmMmMm). The potatoes were roasted. To be honest, we didn't really like the place at all. While I did like the food (DW didn't), I didn't like anything else about the place.

Haven't been to Liberty Tree Tavern since 2006.

Just to let you know Garden Grill's salad isn't served with Ranch dressing any longer. It's a vinaigrette with bacon on top of the salad. When we were there in February we had it without the bacon (I'm a vegetarian) and it really was a very tasty salad. Very, very fresh. I think I had three helpings.

Thanks for the replies, they are pretty similiar, but we will be there for eight dinners and I have a lot of other variety booked (Mama Melrose, Teppan Edo) etc., and they are about four nights apart in the line-up, so I guess we will survive.

The main reason I booked Garden Grill is because of the characters for my 4 y/o DD. So many have said how wonderful the character interaction is, so I'm looking at from her perspective and what she would enjoy.

I've heard and read that the veggies at GG do actually come from The Land, thus they are truly fresh!

We enjoy the character interaction very much at Garden Grill. At LTT we prefer the lunch to dinner as DH loves the pot roast.
