Has anyone done the dinner buffet at Storytellers? We have done the breakfast several times and always raved about the food. How about dinner?

Could you tell more about the breakfast buffet, please??

We just had the breakfast buffet last week. It is excellent. There are the usual suspects - bacon, eggs, french toast, eggs benedict, sausage, oatmeal, hash browns, smoked salmon, make your own omelette bar. I don't remember too much being unusual, it is just the quality of everything is well above the standard Disney breakfast fare.

It is a character breakfast with Chip and Dale and friends. It is pretty low key though, not intrusive.

Thank you its good to know.

I am not a huge fan of the dinner buffet here. I think the options (other than meat) are somewhat limited for the price that you are paying. The food does vary throughout the year making it more desirable at times (for example, sometimes they have fried chicken (ew) and other times they have a roasted chicken like on the menu). They usually don't have breast meat/full white meat which does bother me though. They also usually have Salmon which is very good and a ham/prime rib, but I am not a fan of the ham/prime rib.

The great news is that you can go in, check out the buffet and order off the dinner menu if it does not appeal to you on the day of your reservations. While the service has gone down hill here (IMHO), there are still some good items on the menu. I wish they had kept the old choices (the linguini with clams was amazing). Hopefully, service has gone up. I haven't been there in a while because of my last couple of experiences with the staff.

I love the Dinner Buffet there. We had it in September and December. It's true that there isn't a huge variety, but I've always found enough items to fill me up. If you go, be sure to try the corn chowder--it's yummy!

I am not a fan of this dinner buffet at all. I had it in December and while the corn chowder was good, the rest of the food was fried chicken, mashed potatoes, macaroni and cheese, cole slaw.. KFC anyone?

They also had salmon (which was pretty standard) and and a pasta in cream sauce. That's it (besides dessert).

I don't think it justified the $28 price AT ALL. I wish this place was better since I found the dining around Disneyland to be pretty limited. I have to say I was disappointed.

When my husband and I went there for dinner last February it was wonderful! Lots of variety, ham, prime rib, roasted chicken, salmon, wonderful side dishes, etc. The night we attended dinner there, they also had a huge chocolate fondue fountain with tons of items for dipping (pound cake, strawberries, marshmallows, pineapple, just to name a few), they also had an ice cream bar where the chef behind the counter would make you a huge haagen-daz ice cream sundae, and believe me, if you wanted it on your ice cream, they had it there!

Not sure if we went on a special evening or not, but that is what I can remember. Maybe we were just lucky, who knows?!
But at the time, we did think it was fairly worth the $26 or so that we paid.

Hope that helps!

We were there over New Years and it was lovely. Prime rib, ham and roast turkey breast at a cutting station. An assortment of starches and veggies and other sides- the garlic mashed potatoes and the grilled asparagus were notable. Fresh bread was brought to the table and refilled frequently by our outstanding server. The desserts bring me to my knees. I have a weakness for their chocolate croissant bread pudding!
