Has anyone tried the seafood buffet at Cape May at the Yacht and Beach club. We currently have ADR for Tuesday April 29th. Is it any good. I don't want to pay tat much per person if all I am getting is frazen fish, I love seafood but I don't want to wast my money either.

We've eaten here quite a few times and really enjoy it. This is a New England style Clam Bake, clams & mussels are the main feature, there is usually 1 fish selection, peel & eat shrimp, clam chowder and then ribs & bunch of other stuff.

If you have any more questions, just ask :goodvibes

I went for the first time last September, I really enjoyed it.

Here is the DIS Menu link. There is a picture of the interior also

Dinner
Entree/Main Course

Salad bar and Dessert selection also included. Served nightly from 5:30pm - 9:30pm - $25.99 *

There was a nice selection of fresh foods, good seafood and let's not forget the desserts!

I am moving this from the Dining review board to the main restaurant board for more views.

We went there in October. There is a lot to choose from on the buffet. I am not a big seafood person and found a ton to eat. My sister loved the mussels and other items like that. Try the Oreo Bonbons they are wonderful. The best desserts are kind of hidden and not on the main buffet. You have to search for them. I would recommend it!

If you do go, be aware that Cape May is at the Beach Club, which is a separate resort from the Yacht Club. I'd hate to see you go to the Yacht Club (thinking it was one resort with the Beach Club) and then not be able to find the restaurant.

My family loved the buffet. I don't eat seafood and there was more than enough to eat. The prime rib was delicious!

Oreo bon-bons :)

Oh those were good!

We were there in August. Tons of choices, the ribs were great. We're not going back this trip partly because we're not on DDP this time and partly because I'm not a huge fan of buffets. As buffets go, it's a good one.

The clam/seafood chowder was the best! Worth the $$ spent on that chowder alone. DH enjoyed the mussels. We both LOVED the desserts. Very much worth the money I think.

We went twice in the beginning of 2007 and the food was amazing! Then we went 2 more times at the end of 2007 and it was not that great. They removed the awesome beef tips with mushrooms, the food was cold (if you go at 5:30 ressie the food has been sitting out since 5pm...saw it with my own eyes) and we had to wait for hot fresh stuff to come out.

DH said to skip it this year and try out some new stuff but I will miss the fried talapia, ribs and roasted chicken, all three were to die for.

Now the breakfast has always been fantastic...never had a bad meal there
