Dinner before Mnsshp?

Do you eat a big sit-down meal before the party? Or is it best to go on a not quite so full stomach and get snacks in the park? I am torn between doing a character meal and having a burger somewhere.

we ate a LTT before MNSSHP and it was just too busy!

We did both!

In '02, I got ADR's at the LTT for abut 5:30. My DS, then 4 loved the characters and waitstaff dressed up in Halloween garb. It was busy but fun.

Last year, we booked our trip later, so I couldn't get an early ADR at LTT, so we opted for Casey's while we were waiting for the parade to start. That was OK too, but a little hectic because now I have a 2yo DD .

This year we're going back to LTT. It was cute, and gets you in the mood for the party. Plus the kids want to try it again.

This will be our first MNSSHP and we plan to eat a fairly large meal at some resort TS or at the food court before we head to the MK. Then once we're at MK at 4 we will just eat CS when we want. We are going mostly for the rides and halloween ambiance so don't want to spend too much time for leisurely dining. I'd like to know which CS or TS restaurants will be open and the hours for our night. Anyone know or could guess? Sounds like most TS places will close early.

I'm thinking an early TS meal at LTT as well. Maybe 4:30 or 5ish ?

This will be our first MNSSHP, and I cannot wait! For the past two vacations I have looked longingly at party goers and listened to the sppoky sounds coming from the park as we passed by going to the monorail or boarding a bus or boat. I promised myself I would make the party one year, and finally this is our year!!!
