My children really want to eat here... Unfortunately we were only able to fit the dinner in, not the lunch. The lunch menu looks better, so here is my 2 questions:
1. Can I order from the lunch menu at dinner?
2. Do we get breadsticks or can we order them as an appetizer instead of a regular appetizer?
Also, I am on the dining plan so i do not know if that will make a difference.

Tony's counts as one sit-down meal on the DDP regardless of whether it is lunch or dinner, so you'll be fine on that end. Our favorite is to eat dinner there... and even better if it's around the time of the evening parade. The meals are large at dinner, so your children could split a meal easily. Breadsticks came with some of the meals, but not with others... and they brought us extras for free when we asked (though we were paying, not on the DDP at the time). You cannot, however, order from the lunch menu at dinnertime. HTH! ~Ev :)

Is this a good restaurant to end our 8 day trip with? I am having second thoughts!

Thanks!

I wish I could help but I've never had dinner here. This seem to be one of those I love it, I hate it restaurants.

Years ago Tony's served breakfast and it was always a must for us. On warm mornings we loved having our breakfast outside on the patio. It's a fun place to sit, enjoy a meal and watch the world open. I sure do miss it.

You're right, lunch the lunch menu is better & we ALWAYS eat lunch at Tony's 2-3 times per vacation. My kids love it there & it is a must-do on our vacation. Yum! :goodvibes :goodvibes

I agree on lunch being better but there is some good stuff on dinner menu too.

We've eaten dinner there twice, and regretted it both times. We went in 2003 and gave it another chance just this January. Both times we were disappointed. If you want to eat at ts in MK I would definitely pick either LTT or CP over Tony's anyday!

We were there in January for the first time. The dinner was fantastic. They had this cold Sundried Tomato Pesto dip that was out of this world. They actually have copies of the recipe because so many people ask for it. I already made it. Both our meals were well worth it.

We eat one meal at Tony's each time we visit WDW (14 trips and counting). Sometimes it has been lunch; sometimes it has been dinner. While I do believe lunch is a much better value, we have enjoyed the food every time. The ability to set our ADR schedule to be most convenient for what we want to do each trip is what determines which meal we have there, not the food quality or any discrepancy in menu offerings. I agree, though, with the post a little higher. This is a restaurant you either love or hate... our family falls in the first category. If your family enjoys tomato-rich Italian food, you probably will too. ~Ev :)

I ate at Tony's during a semester on the Disney College Program when 10 girls went out for a Valentine's Day dinner. We all thought it was great. I have not been back since, but not because I didn't like it.

I think either you like it or you don't - might as well sample it for yourself to see!
