Dinner at the Contemporary

We've eaten dinner at the California Grill and Steakhouse 71. View at California Grill was, of course, great. We saw the fireworks (can go out outside for a more private view and piped in music). But we didn't feel that the dining experience was really worth it. Food was good but not particularly memorable. And just too many people ... not a rushed dinner but not relaxing. Steakhouse 71 was different. Basically in the basement (no windows that we remember) but very relaxing with excellent, memorable food. Modern decor felt cold but definitely preferred this restaurant over the Grill.
