Dinner at the Brown Derby 5/29?

I have been trying to get dinner reservations for 2 at the Brown Derby for 5/29 and have called since our 90 day window. Only/best availability was 5:20 p.m. (last dinner reservation is 7 p.m.). Is it because of the Memorial Day weekend crowd? Or because they are "saving" slots for the Fantasmic dinner package? We have done the package in the past and do not want to book it again. Any thoughts?? I don't mind calling several times a week for a cancellation but won't bother if the concensus is I'm wasting my time. Thanks!

No answer for you but just wanted to let you know we'll be doing the fantasmic package at H&V that same day. The only time we could get was 4:00. I can't wait!!! Have a great time.

I would try for lunch--I have a ressie there. I booked all of my ressies on the 90 day window mark--keep trying I am sure that you may see a cancellation with hours just starting to come out.

Wait until you are about 30 days out from the day you want to book and then call. For some reason the Studios and MK seem to hold on to the later bookings until the 30 day time frame
