Dinner at Sea World???

Can anyone fill me in on the restaurant at Sea World that you see the sharks and stuff? I can't remember the name of it and I was thinking of booking it for our upcoming trip.

We're doing the Adventure Express Tour and I know that includes lunch...wasn't sure if we'd be hungry enough for dinner, too.

We are thinking about eating there on our first time trip in June. Hopefully someone who has been there can post a review...

We were at Sea World last week and ate at Sharks twice. It was great. The first night we had the crab and artichoke dip for an appetizer, then I had the crab cakes and my DH had the Sharks Trio, the kids had their usual, hot dog and "shark" nuggets. Then we had the Shark Brownie Ice Cream Sundae for desert. Everything was excellent, so good we made a return trip two nights later. That night I had the crab and artichoke dip and the "Great White" salad (which was the best salad I think I've ever had) My DH had the peanut crusted grouper which I tasted and was very good. Kids had their usual and then we shared dessert again.

The atmosphere is great, much like the Coral Reef at Epcot and the food is well priced for a park sit down meal. It was a very nice break from the sunny Florida heat.

Can an ADR be made in advance or only the day that you want to dine?

What is the latest time during the day/early evening that you can make an ADR for ?

We made both of our "ADRs" the morning of our dinner, but by about 11:00. Both times wa asked for the latest time available and we got 5:30 and 6:15. Both nights while waiting for our table, we saw at least 10 groups turned away because they were full. I am not sure if you can make reservations prior to that day, we didn't try. HTH

I'm curious to hear what the Adventure Express tour is about, too. I don't recall seeing anything about that on the website for SW ... where do I find information out on it?

We loved Sharks Underwater Grill too! Our table was right against the glass, and there was a ledge, so the kids sat on the ledge and watched fish except for when they were actually eating. It was a great distraction! One shark kept cruising right by to check us out over and over - it was funny! We all enjoyed our food.
