We got rezzies after 7pm on a Christmas party night but do not have tickets to the party. Will they let us stay??? For dinner, not the party!!!

Actually I believe the ADR needs to be BEFORE 7 PM on you will not be allowed to check in. If you have an ADR as late as 6:55 you can stay but you will be escorted out of the park after you done - no shopping, no restroom break, etc..

hmmm interesting. 705pm rezzies at Chrystal Palace. Ironically, I'd like them slightly earlier as this is a much needed "early" night!!!!

A couple of years back I had CRT reservations on a party night and I was not attending the Halloween party that night. I was instructed to go check in early and it would not be a problem (1/2 hour early). I was told this by several CM's. the reservation was for 7:00pm. It was the only reservation we were able to get for CRT. It all worked out and were given no trouble at all.

This was about 3 years ago so policy might have changed. I would double check before you dump the reservation.

Of course I do not think that would work at CRT anymore since they have the new party.

When you call you will be speaking with a dining reservation CM who will probably read the warning that any reservation at or after 7:00 requires party tickets. The warning is posted on the online dining reservation page or usually read by the CM if you make the res on the phone. Others have said that they received a phone call if there were no party tickets in the MDE and the dinner reservation cancelled. Even if the phone CM says you should be fine, you cannot depend on them because they have little experience with restaurant policies. Only the CMs at the restaurant that night can decide whether they will sprinkle pixie dust and let you stay.

It is better to keep looking for a reservation earlier than 7:00 so that you will have no problem keeping the res.

Keep looking. Or choose a different restaurant. Policy seems to have changed now. If you arrive more than 15 mins prior to an ADR, you will be told to come back at the 15 min mark. Trying to check in an hour early just isn't going to work nowadays.
You may find your ADR just cancelled...that has happened to some guests.

Please do not take a chance. I think that if others were gifted with that reprieve a few years ago, they were lucky. I have not heard that this early check in is possible any longer.
