Dinner at Goofy's Kitchen - good time?

I was there Thursday at around 5:30ish too! It was my birthday. :)

Belated happy b-day!:goodvibes Annette, did you like Goofy's? Was that your first time there? I am going for my b-day in a couple of weeks and I can't decide whether to do my usual early 7:00 a.m. Goofy's breakfast, or try a late morning thing and see if there are different characters there. I miss it, though. I looooove me some Goofy's Kitchen!:cool1:

Thank you!:goodvibes

This was my second time at Goofy's but it was my first time for dinner. Yeah I love it and I'm 24 years old BTW. :lmao: :) The first time I was there it was for breakfast and I liked that menu much better than dinner. Although as far as characters, there were many more when I was there on Thursday for dinner.

Overall, I love it regardless of the time. Whether breakfast, lunch, or dinner it's always fun! :goodvibes

Thanks Sherrie for the advice on Goofy's. I got lucky that the adult character-phobe we were going to be taking is no longer employed by us (would YOU quit if someone was taking you to DLR??:confused3) and my 7-year-old appears to now be a former character-phobe! We will be there in October :surfweb: <--- me not-so-patiently waiting

I don't really care who we get a picture with at the entry, more trying to find out if it was a Photopass pic. I'll have see if I can get the photgrapher to get a picture of all of us together upon entry if that will be easier.

You always have the best advice. :worship:

Well, yes, if you do get a picture with whoever the character at the entry is, it will be PhotoPass as long as you pay for it! You can use an AP t get a discount on the photo if you have an AP. But you can have them take it with your camera too - everyone does that! I still think that all of the un-purchased photos are somewhere in a back room, used as target practice or something!!

Yes, I am envisioning the entry to Goofy's now, and they could probably manage a 14-person group picture somewhere around there, where there is more space, quite easily. I am sure they do that sort of thing a lot. But even if you have them do it inside the restaurant, I am sure they can send the photograher over to do it with your camera. I would feel safer doing it that way than having a kind stranger do it - unless I was lucky enough to have Nostalgic Dad at the table next to mine, that is!!

I am not sure I would quit a job that was going to take me to Disneyland. Now if I hated the job, I might quite after the DLR trip;)....but how awful could it be if someone was taking me to DLR and Goofy's?

Oh, I am 41 and have no kids and I still work Goofy's into the schedule every trip!!:rotfl2: I keep waiting for the Goofy's staff to look at me strangely, like 'Why are these ladies eating here and hugging Goofy?' But so far, it seems to be pretty normal!

I agree - I like the breakfast menu so much better too (because I am more inclined to eat a big breakfast than a big dinner), but some of the characters I have been hearing about at the dinners have me tempted to go back for another dinner sometime soon! As you say, regardless of the time, it's always fun and I love it!:thumbsup2

We must have overlapped, Annette! We were a table of two right near the entrance - it was just me and my little bald-headed son (he is undergoing chemo right now) and we had a great time!

I think it was right around $29 to buy the Pluto picture, which I readily did.

Glad to hear they'll add the pic to your photopass if you purchase it! I was wondering about that. As always, thank you for all the info!
