Two adults, two young children. Opinions?

Edited to add: We're also going to Via Napoli, Tutto Italia, and San Angel Inn on this same trip. Thx!

Via Napoli would be a great choice. Out of the ones you selected I would probably lean towards Le Cellier -Marrakesh should be omitted, the food we had there was horrendous(and we regularly enjoy Mediterranean food).

My first choice would be Biergarten. Great food, the entertainment, lots of kid friendly options on the Buffet if they are picky.

If I had to pick from the ones you listed I would pick Le Cellier, although I haven't been there since they made it 2 credits.

Teppan Edo. We didn't do it for our earliest trips, were persuaded by friends recently, and now wouldn't miss it. Fun, interactive, good food. BTW - it's way better than similar local places (Benihana, for instance).

Yup- this! Hands down one of our favourite places in all of WDW for a family dinner.

Hi all!
We're actually planning to go to Via Napoli already. I've heard great things. Plus the Mexico pavillion. We went to Teppan Edo last trip too. I was just wondering about trying something different. I actually forgot about Biergarten. We've never gone there but heard it's fun for the kids. I thought I read somewhere they had bellydancing at Marrakesh so was hoping the food was decent because I know my little girl would love to bellydance. :goodvibes

I will look more into Garden Grill. I thought it leaned more toward vegetarian? I love vegetarian dishes, but my husband wouldn't be too happy, I don't think. This is the one that turns, right?

Rose and Crown was good and our 4-year-old really liked it. We usually prefer to do CS at Epcot because we all want something different. DS will get a hot dog in Africa, I will get shawarma in Morocco and DH will get a bratwurst in Germany or fish & chips in UK. We almost always get dessert in Norway or France.

Garden Grill is not vegetarian (and I am vegetarian!). I think they will accommodate vegetarians, though, if you have some in your party. The only reason I would hesitate on that one is because of the reports that it hasn't been rotating for months.

Of the ones you listed, we've eaten at Le Cellier, Les Chefs and Rose and Crown.

Of those, I am not in a hurry to go back to Les Chefs. It is such a pretty place, but it was just ok.

Le Cellier was very good, but it is VERY small, and tables are VERY close together. The whole thing felt kind of romantic to me. I think with young kids, it would not be ideal. Maybe I'm projecting my own worries, but I would be worried about the kids' behavior, whether they were bothering others, etc. I would rather go someplace where my worries would be less, so I could have a good time.

We quite liked Rose and Crown, and were able to view the fireworks after dinner. It is also small inside, but more laid back - a little more of a pub feel.

We have never been to Marrakesh, because I've read so many bad reviews of it.

Of the other suggestions in the thread, I've never been to Biergarten, but I have always wanted to, and it sounds like a good choice!

Actually Garden Grill has almost nothing that vegetarians can eat. Unless you request otherwise, they even put bacon and eggs in the appetizer salad. (I'm not vegetarian but I researched this because I met up with a vegetarian DIS'er on my last trip.) I've always enjoyed the changing views from Garden Grill as it rotates, but I would definitely verify that they have got it rotating again before deciding to dine there again. If so, it's a really fun place, though I would prefer more variety of food options.

I also had heard that Garden Grill had stopped rotating, and would hope it would be fixed by this fall, because I wouldn't want to eat there if it hadn't. I didn't know Le Cellier was small/tight. My kids have always been very good at restaurants, but we need a lot of elbow room for sure. We'll save that one till we go alone. I am very much leaning toward Rose & Crown and then picking Biergarten or Chefs de France for a another. Thanks!

I'll check the menu, thanks!

Young children. How young?

Marakesh is fun, but can be loud for young children.

Le Cellier is over-rated by my families experience.

Rose & Crown - yawn…..unless you're trying to get premium spot for Illuminations.

France is quite yummy. This would be our choice, along with…….

Coral Reef - a uniquely Disney experience.

I didn't know Le Cellier was small/tight.

Others may feel differently. We sat at a table for 2, and felt like we were sitting WITH the couple that sat at the NEXT table for 2. They were super nice, and it was fine, but like I said ... tight.
